The Dichotic Dilemma, the fabric of life was discovered and coined and has been a very effective model for the author to grow as a person, reconcile his prejudices and indignations whilst also discovering his own power as an inclusive leader.
This conversation is about inclusiveness and humanity
We at The Dichotic Dilemma
social enterprise assert that love is a space. A space to be inside of creation and a
space to create. When that love is expanded as in this instance with inclusive
leadership, what could be truly possible in the world?
This is what we stand for and aim to promulgate with our programmes.
More from the author
CHE is a book and collection of poems inspired by the ghost, the memory of Che Guevara. Che Guevara was a revolutionary leader who captured the imagination of millions in the past century. A century which was replete with many great souls for so much needed doing and in this book, Raleigh Chiwuta felt compelled to honour CHE in the writing of his poetry collection as he believes so much more still needs to be done. So, follow Raleigh, as he plots a course through poetry and reflects on the deepest aspects of being human and our shared existence inside of what he believes CHE GUEVARA was fighting for. A better world for all.
Ottilie Rose
This book is many things but firstly it is heartfelt. It is about a father, a human observing life in every way it presents, through his personal struggles and the struggles of the world. The many big questions posed are underlined by the hope that the world can be a better place for his young daughter for whom this book is titled and all the children of the world and the future. Many books will be written about this world, its challenges, and its complexities. Ottilie Rose attempts to wade through all that through poetry such that through the artistic exploration of the human condition we might discover something more beautiful about us.
The Dichotic Dilemma is a way and observational point of view of looking at reality and the social sphere of human existence. Positing that duality is a fundamental reality of existence, e.g.
Them and us, good and bad, love and hate and that this phenomenon permeates all of human existence
and leads to the social and existential issues we face. Such as racism, xenophobia, wars, corporate greed
etc. Postulating, hence, that if people understand this fundamental phenomenon, and transcend it, it can
lead to better relationships and co existence on the planet.
About Me
My name is Raleigh Thandazani Chiwuta and I am the Founder, CEO and Managing Director of The Dichotic Dilemma Social Enterprise. I am originally from Zimbabwe and was born in the early 80s which was an interesting time as it was just post independence from white minority rule and the country was finding itself. From a very early age I began contemplating the deeper issues of existence such as race, politics, leadership, economics, social existence and justice.
I was fascinated by our history of colonialism as a country, in Africa and the history of mass exploitation by European nations in the world. This lead to an intellectual and spiritual journey that began to take concrete form by writing my first book The Dichotic Dilemma the fabric of life. It was my 1st attempt to make sense of it all.
